Splicers
As a Splicer at Digital Technologies Inc., you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic cables. Your main duties will include:
Splicing and terminating fiber optic cables according to industry standards and specifications
Conducting fusion splicing and mechanical splicing using specialized equipment
Performing optical power testing, OTDR testing, and troubleshooting to ensure proper cable functionality
Identifying and resolving cable faults, breaks, and damages
Documenting and reporting all splicing activities accurately
Collaborating with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Certification in fiber optic splicing or proven equivalent experience

Proficiency with fusion splicing machines, OTDRs, and other specialized tools

Strong knowledge of fiber optic cable types, connectors, and termination methods

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Physical ability to perform duties in various weather conditions and at heights
Linesman
As a Linesman at Digital Technologies Inc., you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of overhead and underground telecommunications lines. Your main duties will include:
Installing and repairing overhead and underground lines, poles, and associated equipment
Conducting line inspections and identifying potential hazards or issues
Assisting in the planning and design of new line installations
Performing line maintenance, upgrades, and repairs as needed
Collaborating with crew members and project managers to ensure efficient workflow
Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent

Certification in telecommunications line work or equivalent experience

Proficiency in operating aerial lift trucks, bucket trucks, and hand tools

Knowledge of electrical and telecommunications line installation methods

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Physical fitness to perform duties in various weather conditions and at heights
Aerial Crews
As a member of our Aerial Crews at Digital Technologies Inc., you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecommunications lines. Your main duties will include:
Installing and maintaining aerial lines, poles, and associated equipment
Conducting aerial line inspections and identifying potential hazards or issues
Assisting in the planning and design of new aerial line installations
Performing aerial line maintenance, upgrades, and repairs as needed
Collaborating with other crew members and project managers to ensure efficient workflow
Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Requirements:

Installing and maintaining underground conduits, cables, and associated equipment
Conducting underground line inspections and identifying potential hazards or issues
Assisting in the planning and design of new underground installations
Performing underground line maintenance, upgrades, and repairs as needed
Collaborating with other crew members and project managers to ensure efficient workflow
Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification in underground telecommunications line work or equivalent experience
Proficiency in operating excavation equipment and hand tools
Knowledge of underground line installation methods and best practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
